Jumped on housing data
Investors cheered a report showing home prices rose for the first time in nine months in April. In fact, the market was hungry for some good news. Investors continue to follow overseas developments amid ongoing protests in Greece Tuesday. LinkedIn (LNKD) jumped 13% after analysts at Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase put the social media site on their "buy" lists. The big cap tech stocks led the rally. The implied volatility inched lower as market fears faded away.
